Welcome to Saturday Morning Studio. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Our Artwork

Every painting is created by hand and made to order. Because each piece is individually painted, slight variations in brushwork, texture, and color are part of the artwork and make every painting unique.

Reference images shown on our website are examples of previous commissions.

2. Ordering

Customers are responsible for providing accurate reference photos and personalization details when placing an order.

If additional information is required before work begins, we may contact you by email.

Production will not begin until all required information has been received.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

4. Production Time

Current production times are estimates and may vary depending on demand.

Typical turnaround:

Production: 2–3 weeks
Shipping: Depends on destination

During holiday periods, production times may be longer.

5. Custom Artwork

Each commission is personalized specifically for you.

Because every painting is custom-made:

Artwork cannot be exchanged for another design.
Minor artistic variations are expected.
Colors may appear slightly different depending on screen settings.

6. Revisions

Please review all submitted information carefully before placing your order.

Minor adjustments may be possible before painting begins.

Once painting has started, significant design changes may require an additional fee or may not be possible.

7. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before painting has begun.

Once production has started, cancellations cannot be accepted because materials and labor have already been committed to your custom artwork.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the personalized nature of our products, custom artwork is not eligible for return or refund for reasons such as:

Change of mind
Incorrect size ordered
Personal preference
Minor artistic variation

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the packaging and artwork so we can make it right.

9. Shipping

We carefully package every painting to help ensure it arrives safely.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Saturday Morning Studio is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, or carrier disruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, website content, product photography, logos, and designs remain the intellectual property of Saturday Morning Studio.

Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, scanned, resold, or used commercially without written permission.

11. Customer Photos

By submitting reference photographs, you confirm that:

You own the photographs or have permission to use them.
You have permission from any identifiable individuals appearing in the photographs.

You retain ownership of your photographs.

12. Portfolio & Marketing

Saturday Morning Studio may photograph completed artwork and use images of completed commissions for our website, social media, portfolio, or marketing materials.

If your painting is intended as a surprise gift or you would prefer your commission remain private, simply let us know before your order is completed and we will gladly respect your request.

13. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of your order.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or delays outside our reasonable control.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
