Why This Design?
Over the years I've learned that too many options often lead to disappointment.
Instead of offering endless combinations, I've developed a handful of compositions that I know work beautifully.
For the 12×16 size, that's the mountain edition.
The composition stays the same, but the golfer becomes yours.
The result is a painting that feels personal, consistent, and timeless.
A Note From The Studio
Every painting is created by hand by one artist.
I accept a limited number of commissions each month so each piece can receive the attention it deserves.
If commissions are currently full, join the waitlist and you'll be notified when the next opening becomes available.
Saturday Morning Studio is intentionally limited to a small collection of compositions and sizes.
By focusing on a handful of carefully developed formats, every painting receives the same attention to detail, consistency, and craftsmanship. Rather than offering endless combinations, we've chosen the compositions that work best for each canvas size.

I've purchased my painting. Where do I send my photo?
After checkout, you'll receive an order confirmation email with instructions for uploading your photo.

What kind of photo works best?
A clear photo where the golfer is easy to see works best.
The golfer doesn't need to be standing exactly like the final painting. I'm using the photo as a reference for clothing, posture, body shape, and overall appearance.
Phone photos are completely fine.
Do you send a proof before shipping?
Yes.
Before your painting is shipped, I'll send you a photo of the finished artwork for approval.
This gives you a chance to make sure everything looks right and request minor adjustments if needed.
My goal is for you to feel excited and confident before your painting leaves the studio.
Once approved, your painting will becarefully packaged, and shipped to its new home.
Can I choose a different composition in another size?
Each Saturday Morning Studio painting is paired with a specific size and composition.
This allows me to focus on creating the best possible version of each design while maintaining consistency and keeping commission prices accessible.
Think of it like choosing a photograph from a curated collection rather than building one from scratch.
Will the painting look exactly like my photo?
Not exactly.
The essence of the provided golfer will be captured in my unique style and set composition.
Your golfer will be painted in the selected composition using your photo as a reference, but the painting will be interpreted in my simplified, painterly style into the composition you selected based on size.
The goal isn't photorealism.
What if I don't like my painting?
I want you to love your painting.
Before I begin, please make sure you've reviewed the examples throughout the website so you're familiar with the style you'll receive.
Because each piece is custom-made and personalized, I can only offer a partial refund of 50% due to material cost etc.
If there's an issue with your order or it arrives damaged, please contact me and I'll do my best to make it right.

Every painting is made to order in my Vancouver studio and created specifically for you.
Please allow 2–3 weeks for your painting to be completed before it ships. Once your order is on its way, delivery typically takes 5–7 business days within Canada, depending on your location.
Shipping is available Canada-wide only.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and generally range from $12–$30 CAD, depending on the size of your painting and your delivery destination. Every order is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely and ready to enjoy.
You will receive a confirmation email, followed by a form link to upload the image of your golfer. (if no image or information regarding the customization is uploaded within 30 days, you will be refunded)
Once the photo is received, I can begin painting! This process takes about 2-4 weeks, at which point you will receive a proof to approval before shipping. Minor changes can be made at this point - however photos rarely capture the art in all its true glory and can distort the colours (especially greens). This should be taken into account when reviewing the proof.
Once approved your panting will be securely packaged and shipped to the address you provided.
